CHANGEROOMS- PENINSULA HOT SPRINGS

A NEW BENCHMARK IN PUBLIC AMENITY DESIGN

THREE INTER-JOINING RAMMED EARTH PAVILIONS, EACH DEDICATED TO A DISTINCT STAGE OF A BATHROOM EXPERIENCE:

ONE TO SHOWER,

ONE TO DRESS,

& ONE TO REFRESH.

GUESTS DEPART FEELING MORE CONNECTED TO THEIR SENSE OF SELF THEN WHEN THEY ARRIVED.

The sequencing brings a sense of rhythm & clarity to the amenity experience, elevating what is often overlooked into a moment of calm & care. The solidity of the rammed earth walls anchors the buildings within the landscape, their texture & tone echoing the natural environment while offering durability & thermal comfort. Modest in form yet ambitious in intent, these changerooms set a new benchmark for public amenity design within a wellness context.
